Some rich people do not want to live only in America. They want to live in other countries too.

Peter Thiel is a famous businessman. He started important companies like PayPal and Palantir. He lives in Argentina now. Argentina is a big country in South America. He has a house in Buenos Aires. His children go to school there.

Many rich people do the same thing. They buy houses in other countries. Some people have two passports. A passport is a small official book. It lets you travel to other countries.

Argentina, New Zealand, Costa Rica, and Thailand are popular countries for rich people. Every year, many rich people move to these countries.

Rich people want to feel safe. They want to live in a good place. They want to have a good life. A second country is good for them.
