About Course

Passing the OET is one of the most important steps in your nursing career. Whether you are applying for NMC registration in the UK, AHPRA registration in Australia, NMBI registration in Ireland, or nursing registration in the USA, Canada, or New Zealand, a Grade B in all four OET sub-tests is required — and that means targeted, clinical preparation in English.

This course is built specifically for nurses. Every exercise uses the language of real nursing practice: ward handovers, patient assessments, SBAR escalation calls, discharge planning, and professional nursing referral letters. The ten interactive lessons cover the clinical areas most commonly encountered by nurses in OET — including surgical nursing, cardiac monitoring, respiratory care, mental health, paediatrics, oncology, elderly care, and emergency triage — so you are practising with the vocabulary and scenarios that actually appear in the exam.

Each lesson gives you a complete listening exercise with a full audio extract and nursing notes completion task, a reading comprehension based on a clinical nursing text, and a writing task that asks you to produce a formal discharge summary or nursing referral letter from case notes — exactly as you will in the real exam. Six full sample papers let you practise all four sub-tests under timed conditions.

If you are a nurse preparing for OET, this course gives you the structured, ward-based practice you need to achieve Grade B and take the next step in your career.
