Prepositions of place tell us where something is.
| Preposition | Use | Examples |

Listen to the description of the town centre.
Let me describe my town centre. The bakery is beside the bank, and there's a clock above the door of the town hall. Below the town hall, there's an underground car park. The cinema is opposite the supermarket, so you can see it from the supermarket's entrance. The pharmacy is near the bus stop, just a short walk away. The library is also near the bus stop, on the other side of the road. Yesterday it started raining, so we waited inside the cafe until it stopped. Later, there was a long queue outside the cinema for the new film, but luckily the queue moved quickly.
