Language Focus
We use Wh- question words with "have" to ask for specific information. The word order is: Wh-word + do/does + subject + have...?

| How many | a countable amount | How many pets does she have? |
| How much | an uncountable amount | How much time do we have? |
| Where | a place | Where do you have your passport? |
| When | a time | When does he have his exam? |
| Why | a reason | Why do you have so many snacks? |
Remember: use "How many" with countable nouns (books, pets, children) and "How much" with uncountable nouns (time, money, food).
