Plumber: Right, let's start with the toilet. Is the cistern connected?
Client: Yes, but the overflow is dripping water outside the house.
Plumber: OK, I will adjust the ballcock inside the cistern.
Client: Good. Can you also check the trap under the bathroom sink? There is a smell.
Plumber: Of course. And I will fit an isolator under each tap for easy servicing later.
Client: And the bath — should I apply silicone around the edge when it is in?
Plumber: Yes, always. I will also connect the waste pipe to the floor drain before I finish.
Client: Thank you. When will the job be finished?
